Step-by-Step Guide to Integrate Custom HTML in DropPages

  1. Link Your Dropbox Account

    • Go to Dropbox and create an account if you don't have one. Download and install the Dropbox application to sync files.
    • Visit DropPages and sign in with your Dropbox credentials to grant access.

  2. Create a New Site

    • After linking, you will be redirected to your DropPages dashboard. Click on "Create a new site" and specify your desired subdomain.
    • DropPages will create a folder structure in your Dropbox under "My.DropPages".

  3. Understand the Folder Structure

    • Your site will have three main folders: Content (for markdown/HTML files), Public (for stylesheets/images), and Templates (for HTML templates).

  4. Edit HTML Files

    • Use a code editor to modify the HTML files located in the Templates folder. The main file to edit is base.html.
    • You can add your custom HTML code directly into this file.

  5. Save Changes and Sync

    • After editing, save the changes in your code editor. Allow some time for Dropbox to sync the updated files.
